Submit a witacz to the Witacz of the Year 2026 contest

A submission takes two minutes: a photo, the name of the village and your email address. You can send the photo straight from your phone, with no account.

Anyone who took the photo can submit it; you do not have to have built the witacz. The prizes go to its makers: the local homemakers’ circle, the village council, the fire brigade or the family that put it up.

Once you send the form you will get an email with a confirmation link, valid for 7 days. After you confirm it, we check the photo and publish it in the gallery usually within one working day. We count an approved submission as the first vote for that witacz.

Voting runs until 8 October and we announce the results on 15 October. The three witacze with the most votes win. The prizes are workshops at the Chocolate Museum in Toruń and records from Muzyka Tradycyjna; the details are in the contest terms.
